On Sunday, September 29, 2019, Baltimore County 4-H will hold its first self-timed 5K race which will begin at 8:30 a.m. followed by the Kids’ Fun Run and 4 Legged Frolic. Our goal is to raise money to support the Baltimore County 4-H as an organization 4-H has been providing positive youth development programs for over 100 years in the areas of Citizenship, Science, and Healthy Living. This event is a community demonstration in support of the Health Living initiative and is also the kickoff for National 4-H Week. We will also have a Farmer's Market, 4-H club promotional booths as well as many educational activities on site the day of the event.

The run will take place at the Center for Maryland Agriculture and Farm Park which is a 150-acre farm park located in northern Baltimore County in the heart of horse country. This event is off the road, but the terrain is a mixture of asphalt and grass. However, it is mostly grass.
