The Calvert and St. Mary’s County Department of Public Works, University of Maryland Extension Program and Calvert County Citizens Green Team are pleased to offer a workshop during the Calvert Green Expo on the practical uses for rain barrels and how they reduce the impact of runoff on our local waterways and Chesapeake Bay.

TIME:   10am, and 11am

Participants will have the opportunity to pre-purchase rain barrels and learn the technique for later installation at home. Workshops are approxiately 45 minutes in length. Pre-registration Recommended - Space Limited

To register online and pay via credit card (**additional service fees apply to credit card transactions) choose the appropriate workshop time.

SMALL PRINT:

*Calvert and St. Mary’s County Public Works Department is providing a discount to county residents for participating in this program. You must be present at a workshop to receive the discount.

*If  you would like to order more than one rain barrel please indicate that on the form and adjust payment accordingly. 

*You must register in advance to guarantee rain barrel availability on the day of the workshop.

* Rain Barrels are 55-gallons in size and are white in color.

Workshop is Free; Rain Barrels are $30/Calvert and St. Mary's County residents and $65 for non-residents. Optional accessories available for additional cost.
