This Gardening Merit Badge program will have many talks, demonstrations, and activities to provide information for the Gardening Merit Badge.  Boy Scouts should check-in by 8:00 a.m.

Boy Scouts will receive materials for the Gardening Merit badge compost option.  If you would like to receive information/supplies for the hydroponic or vermiposting options these workshops can be added to the end of the program.  During the program scouts will be able to participate in scout only activites as well as all other activities that the event offers to the general public.

Scouts will receive vegetable and flower seeds plus starter plants to grow at home to complete merit badge requirements.  In the optional Hydroponic workshop scouts will also build a hydroponic system to bring home and maintain.  In the optional Vermiposting workshop scouts will build a worm bin to bring home and maintain.
