Description/Notes: 

The purpose of this camp is to introduce you to the many mechanical engineering projects available through 4-H and give you hands-on practice to prepare for county, regional and state contests. Youth ages 12-18 will have the opportunity to explore engineering projects in depth. Project areas that have been featured in the past include:  large tractor operation, lawn tractor, environmental engineering, GPS/GIS mapping, aerospace, robotics and welding. The weekend camp will end with a team engineering skills contest.

Cost: 
$145 for 4-H members before May 15; $165 for non 4-H members before May 15; $180 for all registrations received after May 15; and $65 for all adult UME approved volunteers
