Family & Consumer Sciences

Family and Consumer Sciences (FCS) aims to improve the quality of individual and family life through education, research, and outreach-- teaching people about issues related to their home, family and health overall. Extension educators strive to teach and empower people so that they can help themselves. . . to strengthen their own families and build their own communities.  Our offerings are research-based and non-biased-- so we are sure to provide you with reliable information that you can trust.

Your Family and Consumer Sciences Educator-- offers programming to address multiple issues relevant to families today.

Most FCS programming is free, but some programs may require a minimal fee to cover basic supplies or travel.
