Calvert County Watershed Stewards Academy

BECOME A CERTIFIED MASTER WATERSHED STEWARD

Calling all community leaders!

Are you looking to improve local water quality? The Watershed Stewards Academy (WSA) is a great opportunity to learn how to solve stormwater problems in your community and to join a local network of energized leaders.

Thank you for your interest in joining the Watershed Stewards Academy!

We are very excited to offer this opportunity to local residents and are diligently planning a virtual course in a variety of modes due to the ongoing COVID-19 situation. We recognize that many individuals may not feel entirely comfortable venturing into a classroom or field setting, and hope that this format will allow the course to continue in a safe way.

  • 15 virtual sessions from October to May.
  • Webinars and course materials will be made available online for viewing at your convenience.
  • 3-4 four hour outdoor field sessions – TBD (pending Center for Disease Control, State, University, and County guidelines)
