Home Gardening

University of Maryland Extension is here to help with all your home gardening needs! We have many resources to connect you with, both in-person and on the web.

  • If you have specific questions you need answered, there are many ways we can help to answer your specific questions, one-on-one. Click here for more information.
  • We offer many classes and workshops around the county that are available for our community to attend and learn with us in person.
  • Sometimes we have special events such as family days in our garden. These are exciting opportunities to engage with garden education in new and unique ways.
  • The Master Garden Volunteer Program is an opportunity for those who are interested in partnering with University of Maryland Extension to bring educational programming to our community. To become a Master Gardener Volunteer, you must complete a Volunteer Training Program and serve as a volunteer educator in the community.  Click here to learn more about our Master Gardener Volunteer Program.
