Horses

The University of Maryland Equine Program offers educational opportunities for youth and adults interested in learning more about the care, use, and management of horses. Our exceptional education programs are offered to all through the University of Maryland Extension.  Whether through an in person seminar or one of our online resources, our educators offer answers to many of your horse related questions. Still can't find what you need? Contact them with your specific concerns for a science based answer!

The Central Maryland Research and Education Center is home to our Rotational Grazing Demonstration Site and ongoing research facility. Investigating pasture grass varieties and grazing behavior helps us to offer better options to horse owners in our region. Educational events held here are open to our entire equine community.
