4-H Youth Development

The Maryland 4-H Youth Development program is part of the nation's largest youth club and has over 50,000 members and 5,000 volunteers.

The Anne Arundel County 4-H Youth Development Extension Educator coordinates the county 4-H program and provides a supportive setting to help youth reach their full potential. Our 4-H clubs, designed for youth ages 8-18, are located throughout Anne Arundel County.

In 4-H, youth can learn life skills through various projects and activities including:

  • Livestock and Horses
  • Pets
  • Nutrition
  • Clothing
  • Gardening
  • Photography
  • Bicycle Safety
  • Woodworking and much more!
