University of Maryland Financial Management Programs

University of Maryland Extension financial management programs teach people the skills they need to manage their money wisely, reduce debt, manage and improve credit, prevent identity theft, and plan for the future. Information is provided both for the youth and adults.

Dr. Jesse M. Ketterman, Jr. serves as an Extension Educator for Allegany, Garrett, and Washington counties focusing on financial literacy. 

As an Extension Educator, he designs, teachs, implements, and evaluates educational programs for youth and adult audiences in the Western Maryland Cluster. He began his career with the University System of Maryland at Frostburg State University leading wellness related initiatives and efforts to promote collaboration between the University, City of Frostburg and law enforcement agencies. 

Dr. Ketterman led the initiative to form the Frostburg Community Coalition promoting wellness at middle school, high school, and university levels.
