Biomass Thermal Energy Council (BTEC) BTEC is an association of biomass fuel producers, appliance manufacturers and distributors, supply chain companies and non-profit organizations that view biomass thermal energy as a renewable, responsible, clean and energy-efficient pathway to meeting America’s energy needs. BTEC engages in research, education, and public advocacy for the fast growing biomass thermal energy industry.
Biomass Energy Resource Center BERC works to advance the use of community-scale biomass energy throughout North America by providing technical consulting services, biomass energy program design and delivery, and education and outreach.
Wood Education and Resource Center WERC is a facility operated by the USDA Forest Service. Part of its mission is to promote the sustainable utilization of woody biomass for energy through technical assistance, webinars, and competitive grant projects.
