Margaret Wetzel

On my way to Jen's house one day I heard this message on the radio. 'Let another man praise thee and not thine own mouth, a stranger and not thine own lips'. Jen has been hurt like a lot of my homemakers. So we (EFNEP) just need to take time to praise and help build their pride. I could write a book about Jen, Susan, Linda, and other EFNEP homemakers. Once I gain my homemaker's confidence I try to make her feel special and encourage her. As a result, the following changes took place with Jen. She now cleans her house, washes the dishes, shops with a grocery list, plans meals, loves the recipes and feeds her son breakfast. Good job Jen!
