Progressive Clovers June Meeting

Progressive Clovers 4-H Club met Monday, June 29, 2015 at Pheasant Echos West, the home of the Miller family at 7:30 pm.

The meeting was called to order by president Alexis Adkins.  The 4-H pledge was recited.  Roll was called.

Old business was discussed.  Members gave reports on their placings from Will’s Fair.
New business was discussed, focusing mainly on the upcoming Carroll County Fair, August 1-8.  Club members will be needed to help at designated times in both the kitchen and as guards in the red building.  Set up of the poultry building will be July 11 from 8-12.  The rest of the fair set up will be July 25 and dairy set up will be July 27 at 6:30.  Quality assurance is due by July 24.  State Fair entries are due July 31.

The club will hold its annual summer picnic in August after the fair at the Stambaugh home.
After the meeting, members broke into committees to work on club projects for the fair.

The next meeting will be Monday, September 14 at 7:30 at Baust Parrish House, with a Clover meeting preceding at 7.  We will be collecting school supplies as a service project.
