Progressive Clovers 4-H Club May Meeting

Progressive Clovers 4-H Club met Monday, May 11, 2015 at Baust Parrish House at 7:30 pm. The Clovers met at 7 pm to make a craft.

The meeting was called to order by president Alexis Adkins. The 4-H pledge was recited. Roll was called.

Old business was discussed. The sandwich sale fundraiser was a success, netting a profit for the club’s treasury. The county 4-H achievement night was held in April and many club members were recognized.

New business was discussed. Will’s Show will be held on Saturday, May 16. Carroll County Fair entries are due June 10. Rabbit orientation will be held May 18 and June 4 at the 4-H office. Members must attend one in order to exhibit at the fair. There will be a 4-H clothing and equipment swap on May 17 at the Ag Center. Dairy judging practices begin on May 20. The Junior Stock Show will be held on June 20. Several members gave demonstrations.

After the meeting, members broke into committees to work on club projects for the fair.
The next meeting will be held on June 8 at 7:30 at Pheasant Echos West.
