Our FSNE team kicks off the school year with ReFresh curriculum

RE Fresh curriculum

Baltimore County's FSNE educator Lainie Morgan has started off the school year at one of her many schools, Woodmoor Elementary School with 3, 4th grade classes on Wednesday, September 25th. The classes discussed MyPlate food groups and healthy and less healthy food choices (always/sometimes foods). They also talked about farmers’ markets and how local produce can taste better since it hasn’t had to travel as far, and then tasted McIntosh, Granny Smith, Honey Crips and Golden Delicious apples from Maryland.
