Holiday Spirit Shines Through the Hearts for Horses 4-H Club

In a way to celebrate Christmas and the holiday season, Carroll County 4-H Club Hearts for Horses donated four hundred dollars to owner Mary Shunk of The Retreat at Beckleysville, a riding facility for therapeutic riding, competitive or recreational riding, and home for retired horses. After raising money through a couple raffle drawings, hosting a fun show, and then celebrating their first year as a club, Hearts for Horses decided the best way to start off a new year was by giving back to the community they love. The entire club truly enjoyed giving the donation as much as they believe Ms. Mary Shunk enjoyed receiving it.
