Ever wanted to be involved in producing food or raising animals?  Thinking about turning your hobby into a small business?  Farming is not as simple as it once was.  Learn how to be a successful agriculture producer by understanding the different types and areas of farming you can be involved with.  This 4 part series will be taught by local agriculture educators from University of Maryland Extension.  Topics to be discussed will include soil health, farming resources, animal production. greenhouses, season extension, irrigation, equipment and more!

This course will be held at WorWic Community College in Salisbury, MD.  This is a 4-session course starting on January 6, 2015 to be held for two weeks on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 9:00-11:30am.
