Join the University of Maryland Extension (UME) on October 21, 2014 to celebrate 100 years. Our mission is as relevant today as it was in 1914.  UME has helped millions of Maryland residents by tapping the latest research from the UMD-College Park and UMD-Eastern Shore.  If you have learned how to grow crops, raise livestock, choose healthier foods, save money, grow your own vegetables; or if you have attended 4-H camp, received help from a Master Gardener or been to a county fair, chances are Extension has positively impacted your life!  The University of Maryland Extension is committed to providing solutions in your community for the next 100 years.

Join us as we celebrate the past, present, and future through a showcase of UME’s educational programs, historical displays, activity stations, giveaways, and refreshments.  Call 301-724-3320 or email to reserve your space by October 14 for any or all of these free educational programs to be held at the Allegany County Fairgrounds:
