You are invited to take part in a High Tunnel Workshop hosted by Montgomery County Agricultural Services; University of Maryland Extension; Montgomery Soil Conservation District-MSCD and Agricultural Research Services (ARS) – the research arm of the U.S. Department of Agriculture.

To provide solutions to many of the issues and questions raised by the farmers at a High Tunnel Listening Session held on December, 3, 2013.  For listening session notes click High Tunnel Listening Session Notes. Click for Agenda.

Scientists and industry representatives will be presenting the latest innovations and solutions as applied to the following focus areas:  structures, nutrient management, USDA Know Your Farmer Know Your Food Compass, pest and soil management, crops and cropping systems.
