USDA-NRCS Forum on Cover Crops and Soil Health: Harvesting the Potential

Tuesday, Feb. 18, 2014 - 8:45am to 12:30pm
Prince George’s Agricultural Service Center, and University of Maryland Extension Wicomico County Office

On February 18, USDA's Natural Resources Conservation Service will offer you a unique opportunity to participate in the national dialogue on cover crops and soil health. Mark your calendar to attend a streaming video presentation from the National Conference on Cover Crops and Soil Health in Omaha, Nebraska, at two locations in Maryland.

The central theme of this national forum is to discuss what we can do, collectively, to increase the health and function of our soil – one farm at a time. We've asked you to participate in this event because your thoughts, insights, support and participation will be critical to our efforts in Maryland. Join us at 8:45 a.m. to learn why improving soil health may be the most important conservation endeavor of our generation.
