What is Youth Council?

Frederick County 4-H Clubs will elect a senior member representative (and an alternate at their discretion) to the Frederick County 4-H Youth Council, a new county-wide 4-H Group responsible for providing direction and leadership to the county-wide 4-H Youth Development Program.

The Frederick County 4-H Youth Council will meet approximately six times during the year to discuss program needs, issues within the community, and coordinate county-wide activities.  Members of the club will elect officers, serve on committees, and gain valuable leadership skills through county-wide participation in the 4-H program.
