Description/Notes:

Do you need to renew your Pesticide Private Applicator certification?

If so, attend this class! The class will cover current topics in pesticide use and safety and will satisfy the re-certification requirement for Maryland Pesticide Private Applicator certification. There is no cost to attend, but registration in advance is requested to assist with program preparations. To reserve your spot, please call the Extension Office at 410-638-3255 or e-mail Sara at sbh@umd.edu with your full name and phone number.

Certifications are good for three years and expire at the end of the calender year. If your certification will expire and you cannot attend a re-certification training this fall, you will have a 90-day grace period to attend a training before your certification is voided. (During the grace period, you will not be allowed to buy restricted-use pesticides but you may continue to use pesticides you already have.) Additional training opportunities will be available prior to March 30, 2014.
