The 3rd Annual "“Growing Community Gardens” event will allow community gardeners from around the county and surrounding areas to network with each other and attend four workshops taught by local experts. Workshops include Backyard Orchards, Seed Saving and Swapping, Green Thumb Yoga, and Local Food Equity: Where Does the Community Gardener fit into the Food System. The $12 fee includes lunch, seeds, local organization information, and hands on activities. This event is open to all county residents and individuals interested in topics relating to food, healthy living, sustainable agriculture, gardening, food policy, and advocacy.
