It is our pleasure to inform you that the University of Maryland Extension-Baltimore City 4-H Youth Development Program and the Maryland Agricultural Fair Board will be hosting the Twelfth Annual Baltimore City 4-H Youth Expo.  The 2013 Expo will be held on May 17, 2013 from 10:00 am – 6:00 pm. This event is designed to celebrate the skills and talents of Baltimore City youth.  This celebration occurs through:

1)                  The exhibition of youth created projects in a myriad of subject matters.
2)                  The showcase of youth performance groups from throughout Baltimore.

The event will be held at the War Memorial Building and is an excellent educational field trip for all youth in Baltimore City to experience. The event is from 10:00 am – 6:00 pm. For your convenience, schools are invited to attend during the hours of 10:00 am – 2:00 pm. Enclosed is the Baltimore City 4-H Youth Expo Criteria Book and Factsheet for your review. These items will provide a complete list of exhibit subject areas and rules for exhibiting, and overall program purpose.

Please mark this date on your calendar and begin to alert your staff of this opportunity to share the talents of their students with a citywide audience.

Participation in the Baltimore City 4-H Youth Expo promotes positive expressions, encourages the spirit of competition, and increases opportunities for involvement in citywide and statewide activities.
