Maryland 4-Hers Showcased Their Horse Knowledge During 2009 Maryland 4-H Horse Bowl Contest

The 2009 Maryland 4-H Horse Bowl Contest was held on Saturday, March 7, 2009 at the Plant Sciences Building on the University of Maryland - College Park, MD campus. This year's contest brought youth from 12 counties from around the state. This event couldn't have been such a great success without the help of the great volunteers that helped run the contest. Volunteers included on-campus and off-campus educators as well as county volunteers, parents and youth and UMD Students. Your hard work really showed!! The Top Ten Seniors have qualified to compete for a spot on the state team that will represent Maryland at the 2009 Eastern National 4-H Horse Roundup Contest in Louisville, KY.
