4-H Enviro-Action!

The 4-H Environmental Science Action Team is pleased to present 4-H Eviro-Action! A series of environmental education (EE) lessons that can be presented during club meetings, afterschool programs, camps, or other 4-H events.  A new lesson will be posted each month.

A new 4-H Enviro-Action lesson for this month is about Insects.  This lesson, like the others in this series, is taken from the 4-H Nature Programming Quick Guide.  The lessons combine simple definitions and concepts, teachable moments, and activities that can be used all together in one lesson, or separately as needed.
As the days get longer and the plants get greener throughout May, insects will once again become a very visible form of wildlife.  This month, take the time to look under some rocks, dig around in the dirt, inspect some blooming flowers, and you'll find many of these very important little critters going about there daily business!
