Resources for Grow It Eat It Programs

Our Mission: Help Marylanders improve their health and save money by growing fresh vegetables, fruits, and herbs using sustainable practices.

Our Vision: 1 million Maryland food gardeners producing their own affordable, healthy food.

The Grow It Eat It program is an exciting Master Gardener initiative that helps Marylanders learn how to grow their own food.

This collaborative program is driven by the collective creativity and work of dozens of MG volunteers and UME staff.  Maryland Master Gardeners and the faculty and staff at the Home and Garden Information Center work together to teach sustainable food gardening practices to children and adults across the entire state.
