The Wicomico County Family and Consumer Sciences (FCS) Extension Educator's and staff offer educational programs for individuals, families, youth, consumers, community groups and employees.  Most of the programs are provided free.  However, a nominal fee may be charged for some programs to cover the cost of printed materials.  The FCS Educator works along with the University of Maryland and USDA to provide research-based information to consumers concerning issues of the family.  

A Family, Youth and Communities Finance educator offers programs regularly in the following:

• Debt Reduction
• Credit repair and Monitoring
• Personal and Business Budgeting
• Wills and Estate Planning
• Teaching Children and Teens to Manage Money and Credit
• Encouraging Parents and Teachers to Become "Wealth Coaches"

A Nutrition Educator offers programs regularly in the following:

• Food Safety
• Diet, Nutrition & Health issues
• Child Care & Human Development
