The mission of Somerset County Extension is to support Somerset County's agricultural industry, protect its valuable natural resources, enhance the well-being of its residents, develop its youth to become competent,caring individuals and foster the development of strong, stable families and communities. Somerset County Extension is located in Princess Anne, Maryland. College faculty at the Somerset County office are your direct link to the resources of the University of Maryland and the University of Maryland Eastern Shore. They provide timely, research-based information through educational programs and materials on subjects of interest to you in such areas as:
- Agriculture and Natural Resources
- Nutrition Education for Youth
- 4-H Youth Development
- Adult & Youth Financial Education
