MD Animal Health Regulations

The Maryland Department of Agriculture, Animal Health Section oversees the health regulations for livestock exhibited at Maryland fairs and shows.

The Maryland Department of Agriculture has revised the Animal Health regulations for animals exhibited at shows in 2007. In addition to getting your health papers, youth and/or their parent/guardian are now required to sign a self animal health certification paper and check their animals prior to attending a fair, show or event where MDA Certificate of Veterinary Inspection (CVI) are required. Click on the links to download the regulations and forms.

For questions regarding animal health requirements for Maryland Fairs and Shows, please contact your Maryland Department of Agriculture Regional Animal Health Office.
