Welcome to Fall 2004 at the Prince George's County Cooperative Extension Office. Although the active growing months of summer are coming to an end, the fall season is important in terms of your yard, garden and lawn.

One of the best places to get information on gardening chores for your yard is the University of Maryland Home and Garden Information Center.

If you are a resident of Prince George's County and you need assistance in identifying a plant problem or insect problem in your yard or home, you can utilize the Prince George's County Cooperative Extension Plant Clinic every Thursday afternoon from 1 - 4 p.m. at the Clinton Office. The office is located at 6707 Groveton Drive in Clinton. You can also call in questions at 301-868-8780.

The University of Maryland Cooperative Extension also has a great Master Gardener Program. If you're interested in learning more about this program check out their web site.Maryland Master Gardeners
