Horticulture Program Assistant
If you have any questions about gardening (ornamental and vegetable), pest, diseases or Bay-wise friendly practices, our program assistant is availalable at the office from 8:30 a.m. to Noon, Tuesdsay, Wednesday and Friday of each week. You may also e-mail your questions to sharvey1@umd.edu
Feel free to drop off plant- or insect samples Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. You will receive a prompt reply.

Maryland 4-H Aerospace Challenge
Great News for 4-H Aerospace Enthusiasts! The Maryland 4-H Aerospace Challenge is back. It will take place on Saturday, July 14 from 9 am-3 pm. In order to prepare for this State Challenge, a workshop will be held on June 30th from 9 am - 2pm. - posted May 22, 2012
4-H National Youth Science Day
The 2012 National Science Experiment for 4-H National Youth Science Day has been released. The 4-H Eco-Bot Challenge will introduce youth to engineering concepts as they program a self-directed robot to clean up a simulated environmental spill. - posted May 22, 2012
