State Fair Update - May 1, 2007

The State Fair requirements have changed and there are no "weight requirements" for the state fair swine department this year. The minimum weight is 225 lbs. and there is no maximum weight. The required rate of gain for state fair is 1.60/day. Right now, they are not planning on having any "pre-light weight" classes; however, they may be adjusted due to the summer weather. Please make your 4-H members aware of this Information. The State Office does accept out weigh-in date.
