We would like to welcome you to the website of the Frederick County Master Gardeners. We hope you enjoy your visit. The mission of the Frederick County Master Gardeners is to help educate Maryland residents about safe, effective and sustainable horticultural practices that build healthy gardens, landscapes, and communities. We are volunteer representatives of the Maryland Cooperative Extension (MCE). As such, our goal is to extend the services, programs and expertise of the MCE to the general public. We base our knowledge on our own experience as gardeners, as well as both classroom and hands-on training provided by the MCE and University of Maryland horticultural educators.
