4-H Calendar 2009-2010

PUBLIC SPEAKING RESCHEDULED

Due to the forecast of severe weather conditions for this weekend, 4-H Public Speaking scheduled for Feb. 5, 2010 is being postponed.  NEW DATE: Friday, February 12, 2010.  It will still be held at the First Baptist Church of La Plata at 7:00 PM, with check in to begin at 6:30/6:45 PM.

STEER WEIGH IN RESCHEDULED

Due to the forecast of severe weather conditions for this weekend, Steer Weigh in is being rescheduled.  NEW DATE: Saturday, February 13, 2010.

 Introduction to 4-H Presentation

The purpose of this meeting is to provide an overview of the 4-H program in Charles County and to help match the youth's interest with that of a general interest club or special interest program.  The presentation is intended for youth ages 5 to 18 (ages as of January 1, 2010) and their parents or guardians.  If you have questions about the presentation or would like to register for the next one, please call Donna Mohler at the 4-H office (301) 934-5403 or (301) 753-8195. Weather Cancellation Policy

When Charles County Public Schools are cancelled due to weather, all 4-H activities are cancelled.  When there is a DELAYED school entry, 4-H activities will be held.  When there is an EARLY dismissal due to inclement, 4-H activities are cancelled.

If you know people in your club who are not on the Email-list, please have them send an email to either Brianna Bowling or Karol Dyson and ask to be put on it.


All Charles County Programs require pre-registration. Programs will be cancelled/rescheduled for lack of registration.
