Maryland 4-H engineering camp


The purpose of this camp is to introduce you to the many mechanical engineering projects available through 4-H and to give you hands – on practice to prepare for county, regional, and state contests.  Each participant will have the opportunity to explore engineering projects in-depth.  The projects that will be featured at the 2012 Maryland Engineering camp are: electricity/energy, large tractor operation, lawn tractor, small engines, surveying, GPS and welding.  Workshops will be offered on a basic and advanced levels.  Finish the weekend off with a team engineering skills contest.

When: April 20 – 22, 2012
           Drop off – April 20, 2012 @ 6:30 pm
           Pick up – April 22, 2012 @ 3:30 pm

Who:  Youth ages 11 – 19 (actual age)
Adult volunteers interested in expanding the 4-H engineering program

Cost:    $125.00 for 4-H members if received  
            before April 9, 2012

            $145.00 for Non 4-H members if received
            before April 9, 2012

            $160.00 for all registrations received after
            April 9, 2012
