Master Gardener Program

Master Gardeners are volunteers for the University of Maryland Extension who share an enthusiasm for home gardening, and a desire to help other people with their home landscape questions. They have received 40 hours of formal training on a variety of horticultural topics from the University of Maryland Extension, and have passed a qualifying exam. Master Gardeners may provide information to home gardeners through plant clinics, participation in demonstration sites, and other community events. Please visit the Maryland Master Gardener Program website for additional information.
