March 9 - Allegany County Public Speaking Contest, 6:30 p.m., Fairgrounds. Call the office to register.

April 6 - UME Office closed

April 14 - Allegany County Achievement Night, 5:30 p.m., Fairgrounds. Call the office to make reservations.

April 28 - Maryland Day and 4-H State Communications contest, College Park
