Howard County Master Gardeners improve the quality of life for senior and disabled citizens through gardening activities. The garden setting and the nurturing of plants stimulate healing of the mind and body.

Master Gardener volunteers help participants:

• increase opportunities for socialization
• stimulate the senses
• improve their sense of accomplishment and self-worth
