Howard County Conservancy, Mt. Pleasant Farm

The Howard County Conservancy at Mt. Pleasant is a 232 acre property dedicated to nature conservation and environmental education of children and adults.

Howard County Master Gardeners play an integral role as group leaders in middle school service learning programs and the 4th grade "Plant a Habitat" program. Approximately 5,000 Howard County students attend environmental education programs at Mt. Pleasant each year. Howard County Master Gardeners also maintain several demonstration gardens, compost sites and conduct education programs during public events at the Conservancy.
