The holiday rush is over and we're coming to terms with winter. Some people may hunker down for a long winter's nap but not gardeners!  No way! Gardeners are just gearing up to grow new seedlings for spring planting season.

Food gardening classes are offered by Master Gardeners to educate the public on growing fruits and vegetables in their own back yard or in containers. You don't have to be an experienced gardener. Even a complete novice can benefit from these how-to and hands-on classes on growing healthy, delicious, and fresh produce.

The Grow It Eat It campaign is the University of Maryland Extension’s response to the huge demand for information and assistance with starting and maintaining successful food gardens. Master Gardeners teach classes, demonstrate sustainable gardening techniques, and promote food gardening throughout the state.
