Nutrition to GO!

Nutrition to GO! Are Quick Lessons in Stretching Food Dollars, Reading Calorie Labels, and Much More

Nutrition to GO! displays are versatile learning tools that may serve as the basis for short, 15-minute lessons or they can be used as a “stand alone” display in community settings, such as health fairs, food banks and pantries, health departments, and school-sponsored events.  Each Nutrition to GO! display provides information on a nutrition or physical activity concept that will help learners make simple changes in their food choices, increase physical activity, or manage limited food resources.  The displays (some available in English and Spanish) fit onto a three-panel table top display board and have accompanying handouts for distribution.  Display topics include low-fat milk, single serving containers, beverages, cooking with kids, breakfast, stretching food dollars, family meals, fruits and vegetables, and calories and menu labeling.
