Central Virginia Advanced Training Workshops for Certified CBLPs (and other professionals!)

LEAD INSTRUCTOR is David Hirschman of Hirschman Water and Environment LLC, with additional instruction by Devin Floyd, Center for Urban Habitats.

This workshop focuses on designing storm water landscapes modeled on native plant communities and using an ecological assessment process. Participants will receive instruction in the classroom and also on a field trip to visit and analyze several storm water landscapes and native plant reference community.

SPONSORED by the Virginia Department of Game and Inland Fisheries (DGIF) Habitat Partners© Program. DGIF is an organizational member of CCLC and a Consortium Partner of CBLP.  By attending this workshop, participants will understand how design choices can support greater habitat value for wildlife and biodiversity through the use of appropriately selected native plants.

LUNCH WILL BE PROVIDED.
