Event Type:

Join Harford County 4-H families in Annapolis on March 29! If you are interested in learning more about Maryland State Government and your role as a citizen and constituent, then this unique citizenship opportunity is for you.

Transportation is provided by chartered bus. Parents are encouraged to accompany their child(ren). You must call the 4-H Office at (410) 638-3255 by March 23 to register and reserve your seat(s) on the bus.

Families should plan on arriving at the Extension Office no later than 8:00am to ride the bus. Lunch will be on your own; you can eat at one of the local restaurants or bring your own. Dress should be business professional and/or 4-H t-shirts if you have them, but please, no jeans or tennis shoes. Photo ID will be requested for those over 16 years of age. The buses will be leaving Annapolis around 4:00pm and return to the Extension Office around 5:30pm.

The day promises to be a worthwhile learning experience:  tour historic Annapolis, our State Capitol; meet Harford County Legislators to share information about the University of Maryland 4-H program; meet new 4-H families, visit the House and Senate Sessions and attend Sub Committee meetings.

Lunch is on your own
