Join environmental professionals and experts from the Smithsonian Environmental Research Center, the Maryland DNR Wildlife & Heritage Service, and more for a day of presentations and activities. They will discuss relationships between native plants, animals, and humans to learn about "creating biodiversity in your environment."

Lunch and refreshments will be provided. Participants will have the opportunity to interact with local environmental service and product professionals, and will receive a folder of useful reference materials.

The workshop fulfills continuing education credits/hours for International Society of Arboriculture, Maryland Licenced Tree Experts, Society of American Foresters, Master Gardeners, & Master Naturalists.
