Got a gas or oil boiler and ready to consider biomass? Come learn about operating biomass boilers well from one of the leaders in Maryland, J.G. McIlvain lumber suppliers and distributors, and network with others in the boiler and biomass industry. Classroom topics include: combustion basics, combustion control systems, how to improve efficiency, a review of Boiler MACT compliance regulations and sharing experiences between the different boiler operators present.

As a part of the workshop and tour, attendees will be guided through a boiler tuning using the boiler on site and lunch will be provided.
