Dr. Doug Lipton and Vicky Carrasco are the PI’s. Local government officials lack the opportunity for research based education on land use issues. The Collaboration for Land Use Education (CLUE) was formed in cooperation with Sea Grant and includes UM faculty and organizations working together to develop programming in this area and network with other organizations to meet the needs. Two local Government Exchange Programs have been offered to facilitate an open forum to discuss new land use options and create a network for land use discussions.
