Jonathan Kays is the PI. Cooperation with professional organizations to provide needed educational programming is accomplished on an as-needed basis. These programs improve networking with other organizations and improve the exposure and credibility of University programs. Organizations include the following: Society of American Foresters, Maryland Association of Certified Public Accountants, Maryland Tree Farm Committee, Maryland Forests Association, Maryland Department of Natural Resources, Maryland Association of Forest Industries, Maryland Environmental Trust, and others. MCE has developed a mutual collaboration with the Society of American Foresters to assist in organization and facilitation of professional workshops for foresters.
