EFNEP for Youth

EFNEP Teaches Youths to Be Active, Read Labels and Eat Healthy

The Expanded Food and Nutrition Education Program (EFNEP) provides education to youths in fourth grade at Charles County Title I schools as an enrichment of the curriculum, and thru summer day camps throughout the county.   The EFNEP youth audience includes limited-income youths, youths living in low-income urban and rural geographic areas, and youths from families enrolled in EFNEP and other low-income programs.
