Master Gardener Bench Raffle

Congratulations Eileen Boyle of Elsmere, Delaware!!

Eileen won the Master Gardener Bench at the raffle drawing at the St. Mary Anne's Garden Market on Saturday, May 2, 2015.

The raffle was a fundraiser for the Cecil County Master Gardener Program.  The Master Gardener Program is an exclusive program of the University of Maryland Extension (UME).  The program's mission is to educate Maryland residents about safe, effective, and sustainable horticultural practices that build healthy gardens, landscapes, and communities. The Master Gardeners volunteer their time to assist and teach community residents on various aspects of gardening.  The Master Gardeners host many workshops and informational booths each year.  Proceeds from this raffle will help support these various workshops and programs.

The bench was constructed by a Cecil County Master Gardener from a completely refurbished twin size headboard and footboard.
